A long time observer I have decided that it is now time to post my plays...I usually make out fairly well each year by bouncing my plays off of the many well respected cappers in this forum (panther,kodiak, etc..) I usually do well handicapping Syracuse games as I follow them as close as I can and I have always been a die hard fan...Anyway, here's to hoping that my picks fair better the the Orangemen's Defense of last year....

Kansas St -26 Game...2 Units
Kansas State -6 1/2 1st Qtr....2 Units
This play has been widely covered in this forum so I will only touch upon it with my own personal views. I just don't feel that Cal can readily prepare their inexperienced defense for Kansas State offense. Cal was a better team last year and the gave up almost 300 yards rushing to the Option of Air Force..hardly at the level of K St. K State mixes things up well with the option moving from three wide reciever sets to two tight ends, etc.. making it difficult for opposing teams personnel wise to match up with their option.

Oklahoma State + 8 1/2.....3 Units
I believe this number is too high and may place some cash on the moneyline. Nebraskas quarterback is horribly inaccurate and makes this a one dimensional offense....I think that if Oklahoma State doesn't win this one outright that they will atleast keep things within a touchdown with all of the weapons they have on Offense this year.

Colorado State - 1 1/2......3 Units
Colorado has no returning starters on their offensive line and the new group has limited to no game experience...The offensive line is dominated by the defensive line at each scrimmage. They also lost their top RB to the NFL and their starting QB. Colorado State has owned them winning 3 of the last four and I don't see that changing this year....

Will have some additional plays after further research...Good luck and I hope everyone enjoy a profitable football season

The day after the line opened up at -24 at Olympic I caught it at -26...Obviously no longer available anywhere else as at has moved up to -28 at most places.

Orange Crush, maybe we should fade Cuse all year - RJ, the same defense, P & D - all make for another dismal season.

It was tough being a cuse fan last year but I have no problems betting against them and did often last year...especially when they went up against WV and were only getting 7 pts. You just knew they were going to get torn apart on defense. Luckily most of the secondary that stunk it up last year is gone....It really can't get much worse the 107th (I think...definietely over 100) in the NCAA!! Offensively we have one of the best tandems in the nation in Rhodes and Reyes running behind a veteran offensive line. However, RJ is obviously below average at best....they say he has looked better in scrimmages...but they always say that!!

I get a kick out of hearing that RJ looks real good - I heard the same shit about Nunes every year - both of them are horrible and always will be - I am talking about the worst QB's in the history of college football over any 5 year period - if Patterson can play I would at least get a future started - we know RJ sucks - Reyes and Rhodes will not star as the opposing team will load up with 8 man fronts - the thought of O'Neil Scott makes me vomit too.

I also banged West Virginia too last year - easy as cake. And I had Temple but that one was a dog fight.

I am assuming you are also an orangemen fan as you know the team all too well...I agree with letting patterson play if he is healthy....he can't be much worse then RJ...I just don't know how long he will last as it appears he is a bit fragile. According to the papers Morant has been killing our secondary in scrimmages...Has he improved or has the Secondary gotten worse?? Hopefully he is finally playing up to potential..but I doubt it!!
